HUF is not an individual so it can not work in person, so commission is not allowed, 

HUF can earn bank interest, capital gain and speculation income ( by HUF operated trading accounts)

Even karta of HUF can earn commission income on behalf of HUF.

So it may be allowed................

if karta earns then it will be his personal income, HUF is an identity which is jointly working like AOP, so any personal nature of earning can not go in hands of HUF, 

if HUF runs a business and get commission in relation to some business work, satisfying the conditions of establishment of business, then its not barred, but mere getting a cheque / cash entry in name of HUF showing that its commission income, is not justified, commission is income for some services or professional skill of some person, not of the joint identity, so commission would go in personal IT file of karta,
