As per sec 210 accounts are to b prepared for a period of 15 months or less. Such time can be extended br Roc by 3 nths

AS PER MY VIEW THE CLOSING DATE FOR NEWLY INCORPORATED CO. IS END OF THE FINANCIAL YEAR.

IT DEPENDS ON THE FINANCIAL YEAR PERIOD ADOPTED BY THE COMPANY IN RESOLUTION IN BOARD MEETING

Closing date can be 31st March, 31st June, 31st sept, 31 dec. etc... or any other date provided, the AGM should be held with in 18 months and the date on which you close your books shall be your financial year for future also.

In future, if you want, you can change the financial year by three months by passing a Board Resolution.
