Classification of stock in trade

My friend, As you said the company purchases all the parts in bulk and assebles it to form a finished product. I think such bulk parts should be treated as raw material since company is not trading or manufacturing that parts. It only sells assembled one. The processes involved like assebling and repacking also amounts to manufacuture since some activity is involved to get a finished product. Based on my knowledge and experience I have given my opinion friend. If you still wannaa get confidence you can call for experts.
