Cima(global) or icai? which has more benefits?

hello friends,
i am doing my ipcc and recently i came to know about course called cima(chartered institute of management accountants) based in UK and recognised in 177 countries.
coaching centres of cima are telling that we get the certificates of below mentioned designations without writing exam of these boards by just clearing cima exams. cpa(us) cma(AUS) cma(Canada) cpa(singapore) and MBA from any top 20 universities of the world.
i am thinking to stop my ipcc and start cima. is it true that we get all those certificates by just completing cima?
the benefits of cima course are
-need not write all the subjects along with the failed one unlike ca
-can write failed subject the next day as the exams are available on demand.
-can complete in 2 years
-recognised in 177 nations unlike ca.
-higher package of salary like ca
-higher pass rates (70%)(80%) (90%). more than 10 times than ca.

so guys pls suggest me should i take that course and shelve ca?

CIMA is world recognised qualification on the other hand CA qualification in only have weightage in India .

Deepu, which coaching institute told u that one can get certificate of other foreign bodies by just clearing CIMA exams?Never heard b4.Could u tell the name?I'd like further know about it.Most of the points are agreeable but passing rates are different for UK and outside UK.I m enrolling for CIMA next yr or so.for more info go to www.cimaglobal.com.
Strategem financial school in hyd telling that we get those certificates.
What might be the fees and is it worth it

Hi Deepu, ur coaching institute is misleading u in a very terrible way. Thats all I can say. I want to write more but I cant, coz I amnt at all fit at the moment to type for long(some health problems).

If you want to work in India, better prefer CA or any other Indian qualification like CMA. And u can later on do cima as a value addition to ur cv.

Last night after reading Jithin's comment,I thought long and hard why would they be misleading Deepu? Then I figured it out. They r not misleading Deepu, though a bit.CIMA must have signed MoUs with aforementioned foreign bodies. They mean to say that after passing all papers of CIMA and completing 3 yrs of Practical Training, u'll get CIMA Certificate. Based on that,u can apply for membership of such bodies. Not an attractive notion bcoz knowledge matters over degree. Now they may be misleading u in case of CPA(US).I don't think it'll give away it's certificate like that.Major reason being CIMA being Mngt Qualification doesn't cover Audit while CPA an accounting Qualification does.CPA Singapore and CMA Canada no more exists-have become CA Singapore and CPA Canada respectively. Jithin is right.if u want to stay in India,go for CA or CWA or CPA (USA)even. If want to work in abroad,Indian CA or CWA with Articleship experience has the same place as rubbish in the dustbin. But of course knowledge will come useful.
