Life changes fast
From puppies and dolls
To movies and the mall
I was so excited
To finally be noticed
But I was wrong
It sucks
Terribly
That I just want to run away
To happy place
Where I know I am safe
This is not what I thought it was cut out to be
There are liars, backstabbers
Skanks and hoes
And the suck up everyone knows
I could ignore them at first
Like they were not even there
Until they intervened in my life
Now I’m scared
It changed so drastically
I didn’t see it coming
But it was because love came in
And I took off running
They say you crawl before you walk
And you walk before you run
But I skipped all the steps
