Change in excise invoice

Please sugget how to change the excise invoice in the following scenerio:-

Consignor has sold the material. The consignee rejects to accept the material. Now the conignor sold the material to the other consignee instead of taking back the material. How to change the excise invoice .

Is it really possible to change the excise invoice ?

You cannot change invoice already issued. Show it as goods returned and issue credit note to the original buyer. Take cenvat credit of the duty paid. Issue fresh invoice to the new buyer showing the same duty amount . Although this is the possible solution, one anomaly will be glaring. There is no transport document for the inward and ouward movement of the goods.
