I have successfully completed 3 yr. articleship by January 1993 and passed 1st group of Inter in November 1992 chance . But due to certain problems i became unable to clear the exams later. Now Istrongly wish to qualify CA. Can I again sit to exams further, without again undergoing articleship. If possible KIndly enlighten me what could I do, the address and Phone number of the authority to whom I shall contact .

you can directly apply to institute with payment of Rs.500/- additional fee (apart from exam fee) for attending May 2009 exams. Write in detail to secretary, BOS and Secretary, ICAI exams, regarding your query. You will get a positive reply. As May 2009 is the last attempt for old intermediate and PEII students, try your luck in this final attempt. Wish you all the best.

I pose this query for resolve by all concerned. I had registered myself for the course in 1993 & have completed articleship in july 1996. Have cleared Group-1 of Intermediate Examination in May 1996. All along have been trying to upgrade myself but have been aworking abroad since 1998. Presently also I am in Ghana, West africa & learnrt taht May 2009 is the last exam for PE-2 old course students. Well want to appear fior the exam but cannot possibly take a break due to my overseas employment. What do I do & what are the consequences of not appearing in this last Pe-2 exam.
