I have inadvertantly generated CRN for payment of advance tax in my e-filing account though I am not liable to pay advance tax. Now I am receiving messages and mails from ITD to remit the amount.
I shall be grateful if you please advice me in this context.

I just want to clarify how I paid advance tax through portal on 13/3/23
went to e tax.....before login.....filled respective form.......paid tax through canara bank......& ...I recived tax receipt on my mail....&...message on mobile

No need to worry, it will get cancelled by 31.03.2023.
