I am submitting ca final exam form. I found that in last attempt certificate of service required, for applicants who completed articleship, to be attested by member. Format of certificate itself included column for member attestation.

But in this attempt C.O.S. format does not have column to be attested by member.

Is it mean no requirement to be attested by member?

I also have similar query - FAQ says it should be certified; but few online pages & groups have mentioned that attestation is not necessary for those who have completed Articleship & hence the format has changed. All contact numbers of Bengaluru regional office is "out of order".

Other students have called and confirmed from exam helpline that self declaration will be sufficient for those who've completed articleship. Read Subhendu Sanyal's post on the above forum.

Are u sure that no signature required on Certificate of service for articleship completed student??

I called Bengaluru branch 080-30563545 - they told me to get it attested even if articleship is completed.. but my frnd from Calicut branch called her regional office - they told her that it is not necessary

if you have completed your articleship then you can upload the certificate of service signed by you, you are not required to get the certificate attested by a ca, you can also contact the helpline no. of ICAI 01203054851 for better clarity

I have submitted the form without the signature of any ca , if you have want to confirm that whether signature is required or not you can call ICAI helpline 01203054851.
Before submitting the form I had call the helpline they told me if my articleship is completed then I am not required to get the certificate signed by any ca.

Please call icai helpline so that you can verify it , icaiexam.icai.org contains all the helplinr numbers of icai, call the helpline before submission of form

I had also tried atleast 4 or 5 times, i suggest you to call the 1st number ending with 851, try calling between 11 am to 4 pm.

Dear Friends.

It is the "Certificate of Service" which needs to be attched to the Exam Form. A person can not simply certify his own certificate / credentials. The ICAI guidelines clearly speaks that, it needs to be signed by the member of the ICAI under whom a student underwent / under-going articleship. The ICAI member after veriying all the relevant details signs the same. Certificate of service contains ample space for signing, stamping and all. Therefore, a form will be incomplete in the absence thereof and can leads to un-necessary delay and correspondence.
