Dear Members
Please let me know that “FUEL OIL” is admissible to take cenvat credit in Excise. Note that use of fuel oil in manufacturing process and tariff heading of Fuel Oil is same as Furnace Oil (FO).

In this regard HSD fuel oil are not eligible and rest are allow for CENVAT Credit.
