Central excies on gold
In GST Rate of Tax for gold has been increased to 3% Where as it is at 1 % in VAT.
My Doubt is Whether the 1% Charge on Central Excise will Continue to be imposed or is there any change in this rule?

Excise has been subsumed in GST... SO NO MORE EXCISE ON GOLD
VAT & excise merged in GST.So 3% is single rate no more excise charged on it.
