Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies cash payment limits in India, particularly regarding the Rs 10,000 daily limit for business transactions under PGBP. It explains that while a single cash payment of Rs 15,000 is permissible for personal expenses, business payments exceeding Rs 10,000 in a day typically require digital methods. The thread also explores strategies for managing larger bills while adhering to regulations like Section 40A(3) and Section 269ST.

You can pay through digital way like upi otherwise you have to pay them 10 k in a day
You can pay in cash 15000/- straight way.

The 10000/- limit is applicable to business / professional transactions the income of which is chargeable under PGBP
Pay less than 10000/- per day...
Rahul, always elaborate your query.

simply payment to a person 15000/- by cash --- it means what, ---- loan, return of loan, business expenditure, personal expenditure, goods purchase transport payment , asset purchase, etc etc.

Limit or no limit is dependent on above and more factors.

Sir We can pay 1 purchase bill of 3lac by cash 19 times 10000rs and one last time 9999rs  at multiple dates and rest balance by bank .

And by doing this we will not hinder section 40A(3) as well as Section 269ST .??

Please correct me if I am wrong.
