Dear members I have the following quary 

smt  A  has   inherited an immovable( long term asset) property from her father. Now she gifted3/4 ofher property equally to her son and  two daughters.   now she, son and daughters  plans to sell the property immediately after a month .

whether  capitla gain arising the sale will be taxed as long term capital gain  in the  hands of all the above persons individualy

If the gift deed is regitered , then Long term capital gain will be charged for all the above persons individually since the property is in the name of all the people in their share
