For cancellation of GST registration, the Central Jurisdictional Officer typically requires proof of identity and address for future correspondence.

Although you've submitted an Aadhar card, which is usually acceptable, the officer has rejected it.

Alternative Documents: -

*Notarized Home Rent Agreement*: While a notarized home rent agreement can serve as proof of address, it may not be sufficient on its own for GST registration cancellation purposes. -

*Other Acceptable Documents*: You can try submitting other documents like a passport, driving license, or utility bills (e.g., electricity, water, or gas bills) in the name of the taxpayer. Procedure for Cancellation:

1. *Submit Application*: Ensure you've submitted the cancellation application in Form GST REG-16 on the common portal.

2. *Attach Required Documents*: Attach all required documents, including proof of identity and address.

 3. *Wait for Officer's Response*: The proper officer will review your application and may request additional documents or clarification.
