Hi Harish,
I second Kishor's view.. it really depends on how u r used to studying.. if u can study independently, then it will be possible for u to manage MAFA as well... If you feel u r not able to understand things by reading books alone, then u would need to attend classes - since u r short of time, try finding out crash courses by classes, or taking help in difficult areas from a friend who knows the topics well.
I would recommend A N Sridhar's book for studying... it is concise and to the point, and also explains the necessary concepts well.. But if you have started studying from any other book, it would be ok provided you stick to it and understand everything from it.. I wouldnt advise u to use more than one author's book since it would only confuse u with different solutions to the same problem (sometimes sums are solved based on different assumptions by different authors - follow any one)
You could also keep an eye for any crash courses conducted by the institute.. Within a few days u will be able to revise the entire portion..
Wish u all the best for ur studies and exams.. dont worry.. just have the right attitude and u can crack ur exams easily..
