CA Profession....What makes a Professional?

Today's world is surely overburdened with criminals, fraudsters and crooks. But how can you bring about the teachings and transformation? It is always said that education can teach all the good things in life. Have you ever heard that a student who is going to the exam hall to write exams is being robbed of his/her belongings? This is the unfortunate incident that many students are experiencing in some exam centres. Today i witnessed a fourth incidence of robbery taking place at a CA Final exam center in Sourthern India. A girl who had come to write the exam placed her bag on the floor in the corner of the exam hall. She was seated on the front row and could see it all the time while she was writing the exam. Least did she imagine that she would lose her bag by the end of the exam. Though it was only a small money bag, she was not allowed to keep it with her. As soon as the exam was over, while she was handing over her answer sheet to the invigilator, some person took her bag and disappeared with it just in a fraction of a minute. The bag contained good amount of cash, house keys, vehicle keys, cellphone and debit cards. While she was reporting the incident to the center staff, they started blaming her for carrying all such things with her to the exam centre. They blamed it all on students. A member of the Institute present there was smiling away at the pitiful situation of that girl. It is very hard to digest the fact that a student who is coming to write exams can steal things belonging to other students. Also it is very difficult to trace the culprit. Hope these incidents don't recur. These incidents are a black mark on the profession; it makes us wonder what makes a professional?
