This discussion clarifies the process for CA Intermediate group registration. You can register for both groups simultaneously. If you've filled the form for both, you are permitted to appear for exams from either or both groups. There's no obligation to attend exams for both groups if you choose to focus on just one. However, to pass, you must meet individual group passing requirements or achieve at least 40% in each paper across both groups and 50% in the aggregate of all papers from both groups combined.
