Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the process for CA Intermediate group registration. You can register for both groups simultaneously. If you've filled the form for both, you are permitted to appear for exams from either or both groups. There's no obligation to attend exams for both groups if you choose to focus on just one. However, to pass, you must meet individual group passing requirements or achieve at least 40% in each paper across both groups and 50% in the aggregate of all papers from both groups combined.

If you have filled the form of both groups, that means you are allowed to appear in all the exams of both groups . If you leave a group unattended. There is no compulsion for any person to attend both groups, if he/she want to attend a single group (Grp-1 or Grp-2). but this apply for exam forms. registration for intermediate is one time process

All the best.
Thank you 👍🏻

You must meet the minimum requirements to clear each group individually or you obtain a minimum of 40% marks in each paper of both the groups, and a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all papers of both groups taken together.
