As per the notification of May 2011 exam the ICAI has announced some topics are excluded from exam of CA final. so whether this topics are permanently excluded from the syllabus or it is excluded only for May 2011 exam itself.

As per the Circular, this exlusion is only for May, 2011.
The excluded topics are:
Paper-1 : Inflation Accounts
Paper-5 : Tests for Hypothesis and Time Series
