Ca final result.

Hi All,

I had not appeared in the Financial Reporting exam held on 1^st November ( November 2011 CA Final exams) since I was of the opinion that the same is exempt from writing as I had scored a total of 66 Marks in the exams conducted on May 11 ( I had an earlier exemption in MAFA which I got in november 09 exams and hence did not attempt for the SFM paper in May 2011). I have been marked absent for the Financial reporting paper and hence I have failed in this attempt. If the paper was not exempt, then the institute could have intimated me about the same while they were processing my Exam application form. But as I did not get any information as such, I did not write the financial reporting paper.

 If i add the financial reporting marks,my current total of 342 (cumulative of both the groups) becomes 408. This total qualifies for pass % in CA.

Is there any alternative in which i can convince the institute as most of the students including me were confused about the exemption rules and that has ruined the result.
