No, its not applicable as ammendments beyond 6 mths are applicable

In ISCA the only place amendment is possible is the Information Technology Act, rest other places will be addition or deletion of some topic. When the transition from Old scheme to new scheme happened, there were lot of questions emanating from the old scheme too, so unless the ICAI makes a pronouncement it cannot be told categorically whether the changes incorporated in Latest material is applicable or not. You people take a call.
