Hi could anyone pls tell me is it really compulsary to quote Case Laws and sections at all places in examinations of CA final in papers lik DT. IDT , Company Law etc... I did not quote in my Pe2 exams and fared quite well and passed. Is there an expectation by the examiner in cases of final students to quote case laws and sections. Pls help

No need to write the name of case law untill ur not 100% sure.. if u write wrong case law than you will not get any thing.. and if u write the case law it will not give u much impact.. thats why its always advisable that until ur not sure with case law and section number dont write.. because ICAI is not expecting from u that u rem every thing. Also, there are no rules to quote case laws or so in final, it all depends upon ur memory and remembrance. As Said, quote oonly if u are 100% correct.
