Plz suggest me best book for direct tax for ca final(new) for nov.2010 .As I have just started my study after a gap of about 5 years & have to start it from scratch.I have three options with me: 1.Sanjay Aggarwal's book 2.Vinod Gupta's notes 3. Paduka's book. You can also suggest any other book.

Go for T N Mahonaran sir Book.. It is also recommended by ICAI...
I agree with Srinath but it will take more time to read
for short preparation Paduka s best
But Subject is excelently expained in T.N.manoharan sir book
paduka is better
