Ca failed. icaew or cima?

Hi,

I could not clear the CA Final exam in India, but moved to UK permanently now. I have B. Com qualification as well.

I am contemplating to pursue CIMA or ACA in UK.

Contacted ICAEW (re ACA) in UK regarding exemptions. They said exemptions allowed only for fully qualified ICAI members. Another personnel was unsure but asked me to pay £165 registration cost as a student and apply for credits (by paying £85 for each module) and that I may receive some exemptions.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Praba

i also had searched for it but i guess exemption is available only those who have completed  CA ,only 3 exams are required to be given and in case those who are member and work ex of 2 year are required to give only 1 exam thats case study

so i guess paying fee seems to be unsafe without assuring it
