I have always read insititute's study material and it has always helped me to get a good amount of marks in every subject. They have really raked up their standards off recently in the case of Taxation, Accounts and Audit. Plus the crash courses offered by them are truly amazing and they almost cover all the important concepts of the material to be studied. So my suggestion to everyone would be to read Institute's study material atleast once, becuase, believe it or not, when you go for work (articleship or job) it works wonders. Because there a person is expected to interpret a Bare Act in a language other than the Author, so it becomes more challenging. So if you have a habit of Institute material then it becomes very easy and not to mention Double Promotion and Big Bonuses.   All The Best Guys..

don't take learning as a painful experience.

everybody should consider their prime motive of joining ca course and analyse it. if you know where you are going, you will definitely find the way!!

ipcc study materials have been revised in july 2011 and you have to follow that as per icai notification regarding relevant icai publications for examinations(icai/students/examinations)

practice manual should also be used for each subject.

considering the time available and volume in icai materials you can easily complete a first reading and a revision or two

for AS and SA applicable for papers 5 and 6 you may refer some guides available as icai material is not easy to comprehend in these areas.

read rtp also. (must, as questions are asked from that)

question pattern should be kept in mind.

read suggested answers to know how to answer especially sm and it.

make a trend analysis of your own or read it from some book and follow the trend.

there are important and unimportant chapters from EXAM POINT OF VIEW.

strategy should be to: get first 40 marks securely., additional 10 marks strategically., other 10 to 20 marks riskily.

full focus on May exam: you will pass sure.
