C form and export

Mahavat 1285 views 4 replies

I am working for a manufacturing concern. We also do tradingsome select  product categories. One particular product is sourced from Goa, packed in Tamil Nadu and exported without any change in physical or chemical properties. In this scenario, is it appropriate to give C Form to the supplier or should I give him Form H.

If any one can clarify me..

C Form to be given when ur supplier charges low CST rate for interstate purchases.

H Form to be given to supplier when he charges u with no tax for exports

Thnx

Form H is to be issued to supplier as goods have been exported.

The transaction narrated by you is coming under merchant export.  For any export without altering the product and exported as such, it should be supported by CT1 form for excisable commodity and Form H for VAT/cst exemption.
