Is there any Provision under GST like in VAT Act regestration is only granted after the visit of GST office ?!

The registration is granted after due verification and within the 7 days.
So its clear Officer can visit in Business Premises within prescribed timelimit
rule said application submitted under rule 8 if found to be defective either in terms of any information or any document the proper officer may issue notice electronically in FORM GST REG-3 and ask for the same
there is no where in rule mentioned about PHYSICAL VISIT OR VERIFICATION
