I have an idea for a social enterprise but need to know following before taking it forward.
1. Do I have to file for any trademark right now, to protect my business name? Or can I wait?
2. Do I have to register company before it starts? (At the moment only website is up to attract potential customers)
3. Any Do's & Dont's while talking to potential investors?
4. Any other things I need to take care according to you?

for registering trademark, sooner is better.. you should not wait till some one moves your piece of cheeze..
Any person claiming to be the proprietor of a trade mark used or proposed to be used by him may apply in writing in prescribed manner for registration.
Rest all are the business tech..you know the better..
