I’m a software developer, and over the last few months, I’ve been looking into the workflow of CAs. I noticed how much time gets completely drained by manually converting messy bank statement PDFs into Excel, fixing formatting, and handling GST validations before pushing them to Tally.
To fix this, I built a desktop app called TruLedger.
It's specifically designed to handle complex Indian bank formats, validate GST, and generate ready-to-use Tally XML exports. Because it's a desktop app, all processing happens locally on your machine—no sensitive client financial data ever goes to the cloud.
Why I'm posting here: The app is currently in its Beta phase. I am not here to sell anything. I am looking for a few practicing CAs to try it out on their hardest, messiest bank statements and give me completely honest, brutal feedback on what I need to fix or improve before a public launch.
