Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether Buy Today Sell Tomorrow (BTST) transactions are considered speculative income or short-term capital gains for tax purposes. It confirms that for IT purposes, BTST is treated as non-delivery based speculation and taxed according to income tax slabs. The turnover value for BTST is determined by the sale value of the stock, not the net profit or loss.

For IT purpose it would be non delivery based speculation.

Ok sir so it will taxed according to income tax slab and what would be turnover value for btst is it net profit or loss booked or sale value of the stock
