For Law Munish Bhandari's book is excellent. For Auditing Padhuka's is preferable. Do study Vinod Agarwal's book on Auditing. All the best

For auditing - V K Agarwal and for Law - Munish Bhandari are the best books.

Munish Bandari is good for Law and paduka suggested for auditing

long answer book is good

but if ur attempt is may 09 then hand book is good...

Long book will be preferable for FEMA, SEBI, Directors, SCRA. SEBI guidelines are not included in the handbook. but handbook is advisable for chapters like board meetings and competition act.

Please suggest me suitable books for CA Final First group - Old Syllabus . I got V.K. AGARWAL 2006 edition  for auditing. is that ok? for MAFA i got Pattabhi Ram book(Snowwhite publication) that too 2007 edition. For Accounts i got Vijayakumar book and for Law i got Munish Bhandari. Please suggest me anything else required for preparation.

You may go for the following options regarding books for ca final:

For Accounts : M.P.Vijay kumar or Shukla & Agrawal along with Module And Compilation and for AS part go for D.S. Rawat

For Audit: Prakhar Sharma/Paduka/ V.K Agrawal
Note: (MP Vijay Kumar can be used for AS reference)

For Corp Law; Munish Bhandari

For Mafa: Module and Notes of Tarun Mahajan. You may also refer A.N Sridhar.

For Direct Taxes TN Manoharan (Theory part), Circular, Notification, Amendments, case law

For IDT: Vandana Bangur

For MICS: Module

For Costing: Saxena and vashist or Ravi M Kishore with module

Also refer Scanners and Suggested Answer issued by ICAI for previous year exams and revised them properly.
