dear friends
please let me know whether CA Ajai Jain's still provide notes on indirect tax.i am a CA final student from nepal and i heard that ajay jain has stopped conducting classes on IDT. In that case i am not sure which book to follow for Nov 2012 exam.i have purchased bangar but it seems difficult and time consuming.Pls suggest name of easy and effective book on idt applicable for nov 2012 exam.
You can refer BHARAT PUBLISHER'S BOOK (MOHD RAFI)
Book is written in easy language and exam oriented and will clear concepts easily..
But disadvantage of following this book is its very simple language.

It is my humble request that if you want to get your concepts very clear and understand the subject of Indirect taxes, please refer to the modules of Prof. Dippak Gupta.
You will fall in love with the subject. Though his books are in depth but the level of clarity and confidence you will achieve, will take you to new heights not only in your subject but your career as well..

bangar's book is good for idt
Go for Bangar. I completed the entire course in 10 days with the book. Mohd.Rafi is a crap book. I have it and i regret buying it.
The flow of the book is poor.Go for bangar's book you will do well.

better you choose yogendra bangar..it is the best.
even vineet sodhani's book on idt is very nicely written covering almost everything in simple language and is good for revising. Could complete the whole IDT portion within 2 weeks comprehensively. Bangar is also very good. Sodhani actually co-authored the IDT book with bangar in the previous edition.
