Manpreet Kaur,

As you are starter, So firstly you must know how to understand Section interpretation. It should be understand through knowledge of Rule of Interpretation. Secondly you should know  what is the difference between an Act or a Rule. Act discusses about "what you have to do " and Rule states about "How to do"

If you have any other Question So plz also mention that

Sumit,

My question was about general knowledge about law... what i must know... what knowledge i must possess.. i mean the basic knowledge.. as i specified in my question... i asked specifically not generally...

Mam in law every liilte thing possessing a good position depends upon where it is being used. so better the spefic area's in which you what to obatin knowledge.

Entire syllabus is important.

Go for the Lawyers Club India App Manpreet...
Its a biscuit App,where experts give you partial knowledge, every time they avoid ans AND Solicit clients by passing derogatory comments, 1stly experts confuse you on a matter and Then they say to Refer... They keep on changing Stand,They are not perfect like us To Stand on Any Matter Asked.. Lastly they say refer Local Lawyer...
Manpreet a part from regular study of various laws....you can read various deeds, documents, forms, applications, case laws etc...which helps in better understanding of practicle aspects....this will also helps when you are going for practice....All the best....

thnks everyone :)

Theory must be strong Reading should b an habit There is no pre-qualification requirement Only good focus is needed Clear the exam Practice is ur field of interest Good Luck
