Dear friends,
If the companies can follow both vertical form and horizondal form of balance sheet as per Companies Act, why all the companies are using vertical form for their reporting purpose ????

As per Notification No. GSR 220(E), dated 12-0301979 the balance sheet of the company shall be either in horizontal form or vertical form.

dear friends,
in case of varticle balance sheet its easy to compare the last year figurs & it focus the source nd application of funds, with the working capital you should know how it is while loking the verticle format of the BS
if any other major advatage is there for that so plz tell me
