I am writing an account in the firm How the TDS Return and Form No.16 Generated automatically
I want to import excel data in tally. How can i do this.
Example
ITem Group Qty Rs Amount. ( In Excel Format)
AT086 Chair 10 100 1000
(Import Excel to Tally )
First go to F11 and do Enable TDS then while creating ledger when question come abt TDS applicability do
no excel data can not be imported without tally defination langauge (TDL). Call tally ppl for this.
i m using Tally 9 and got problem in Payroll..

This is accounts related query I think. But the Ans is as follows:
1. sales entry by 500000
2. Receipt Entry by 485100
3. bank charges 2450
4. shortage??? I dont understand what is this mean.
5. Exchange Difference 9900(50-49)

Its correct that we can assign codes to each ledger in the tally
during account creation goto multy account creation and select ã All Accounts, In the side bar select ã F10
if some one forgot the tally password yhan how is it get over again?

this is a technical problem.
If a person knows TDL (Tally Defination Language) then he can easily trace the same.
