the name of the exam is AMFI MUTUAL FUND (ADVISORS) MODULE TEST.........
its a objective type test with -ve marking..........u'v to score minimum 50 % in it......

From June 2010, AMFI Mutual Fund Certification program is discontinued. Accordingly, test for AMFI Mutual Fund (Basic) Module and AMFI Mutual Fund (Advisors) Module will not be conducted by AMFI.
At present, National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is conducting this Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Examination. NISM is established by SEBI. NISM will give you Certification after the examination. Examination is in objective mode with negative marking. The syllabus, fee structure are given in below link for your reference.

No. I haven't given the exam. I just shared here for your information only. I advise you first you decide in which area you want to settle your career. Accordingly, you do all these courses.
