Application in Form 24AB - Section 295 - Urgent!!

There is no need to make any separate application on company's letter head to the central government for the approval under section 295. The e-Form 24AB is itself the format for application in this regard. So no need for separate application as e-Form 24AB will suffice.

Could you plz tell me the time period involved in approval of Form 24AB? I don;t think so it will take much time, bein all the documents mandatorily attached to th Form and Form filed electronically.

Coming to your query, if all the documents are clear and proper, then the avg time taken for any approval, (whether ROC, Regional Director or Central Govt.) is abt 4-5 working days. Even if the response is otherwise, say not approved, the same is communicated within 4-5 working days.
