There is a TCS credit in my account due to scrape sold by ABC. The fact is that I have not made any purchases from ABC during the previous Years. Assessing officer has made addition of Rs. 10 lacs (Cost of scrape sold) in my total income while passing the order u/s. 143(3) without considering the fact that I have filed an affidavite rejecting the same purchases. What to do and on what grounds appeal can be made?

Write a request latter to Assessing officer and attached all attested copies of your financial Statement ( Attested by CA) alongwith request latter.
Make sure you have not taken the tax credit of that TCS amount in your Income tax Return. If you already taken the credit of TCS amount in your return than try to revise your Income tax return as soon as possible.
