I have to appear for interview in a company for the post of Accounts Manager, who deals in trading of interior products like Furniture, etc..
Please respond to the following: -
1. What should be my vision to have a smooth accouting treatment?
2. What type of Internal Control has to be adopted by me for having a smooth and correct accounting?
3. Any other tips which could distinguish me among the other candidates?

Prepare for VAT input credit available items and non creditable purchases.This could be key area for the employer. Prepare on TDS aspects for Jobworks, rate of TDS and due dates for TDS payment as well as TDS quarterly returns as any delay/ non deduction will cause the employer heavy loss of money.
Internal Controls: Keep some registers for usage of materials and authorisation for issues and receipts for such materials. Petty cash book also may help some controls.
If the empolyer is a company, have some basic information about company law.
