abt articleship
frnds i m just confusing about the leave which i can take before my PCC exams from my articleshp (i hav done 15 months articleshp) my attempt is NOV 08. and how luch leave is permissible by ICAI.

U CAN TAKE LEAVE AT THE RATE OF ONE SIXTH OF TOTAL PRESENT.IF U R PRESENT FOR SIX DAYS U R ALLOWED TO TAKE LEAVE FOR ONE DAY.SUNDAY OR ANY OTHER HOLYDAY IS CONSIDERED AS PRESENT.TO DETERMINE HOW MANY LEAVE U CAN TAKE PLEASE COUNT THE NO OF DAYS FOR WHICH U ARE PRESENT DURING UR ARTICLESHIP.PLEASE ADD THE NO. OF SUNDAYS & HOLYDAYS IN UR PRESENT.NOW DIVIDE IT BY SIX.IT WILL GIVE U THE NO OF LEAVES PERMISSIBLE TO U.
FOR EXAMPLE IF U R PRESENT FOR 180 DAYS(INCLUDING SUNDAYS & HOLYDAYS) THEN U WILL BE ALLOWED FOR A TOTAL LEAVE OF 180/6=30DAYS.
It s depend up on ur total presence and working days.
