The meaning of shares is that the whole company share capital devided into a small parts, each parts known as a share there are two types of shares 1: equity shares 2:preferance shares equity shares are also known as a owner shares. they get capital back after payment and all settlement of debt and payment to preferance share capital back. preferance share means the holder of such type of share given to the preferance in the two main things one for capital back before equity share holders and second get dividend before payment to equity share holders dividend warrants: it is the one type of document issued by company to share holder for payment of dividend. in it specifically denote that no. of shares held, dividend per share, percentage of dividend of the face value of shares and date of payment of dividend to bank account of the share holder. hope, so this information clarify your concept and benefited
