Dear Team,

I am a Businessman , I want to know about Invoice number

Can I continue before Gst Invoice numbers with after Gst Invoice.

Eg; My last Invoice number before Gst i.e 30th June number 20

am i continue with Invoice number 21 or start from 1

kindly let me know.

You have to continue with no:-1 with prefix of alphabet of your organisation or service.But it shoould not exceed 16 character.It should be unique for a financial year.

You can do one thing , write a letter to your GST authority to which you have migrated by mentoining the Invoice number which you have used from 01.07.2017.
