What is the latest circular or directions in this regard? Whether linking of biometric is mandatory in old accounts?

The Supreme Count on 14th March, 2018 issued an interim order extending the deadline for linking Aadhaar numbers to bank accounts, mobile phone numbers, passports and other services indefinitely beyond the previous deadline of March 31.
