I posted the above forum when i replied one query and someone thanked me and i replied the same as above. To My this answer one of top members suggested me the above post.

no. Thanking is a human habit.  Service for society as a professional is different and appreciating as a human being is COMPLETELY different.

Saying thanks is a minimum courtesy.  Truth is that in a world where people dont help each other even when they are face to face,  without any expectation, hon' members,  experts and people like you are ready to help aspiring students like us with your experience although you know nothing about us.  This service mind of yours is surely for an applause.  This is a great place to be connected with -knowledge wise, as long as the members dont convert  this forum also into another twitter or orkut.
