One of our client has Purchased a Software (SAP) who's price is in lacs , So my Query is that should that cost Be CAPITALIZED in the books of recorded as an Expenditure in the books..?

The cost of the software should be capitalised.
And the cost of maintaining the software would be treated as a revenue expnditure.
