An Organsition has made an arrangement with the Insurance Company for a medical insuarnce plan for its employees wherein the Premium amount will be deducted from the salary of the Individual employees and the organisation will make the payment to the insuarnce company in a single cheque.
The Policy will also be in the name of the Organisation.
In such a situation can the employees be able to claim the deduction U/S 80D for the amount that has been deducted from their salary towrads the mediclaim premium ? Can the organistaion show such deduction in FORM-16 as 80D deduction??
