194a tds deduction on accrual basis

For the six month loan moratorium during march 20  to  august 2020, should we deduct tds 10% as per 194A on the unpaid interest component of the loan on accrual basis or tds to be deducted only for the payment paid for the remaining 6 months. Please advise.
