Revenues from the import of goods were 36% higher, and revenues from domestic transactions (including import of services) were 32% higher compared to the same month last year.
GST collections dropped below Rs. 1 lakh crore in June 2021 primarily because those collections related to May 2021, a period when many states were under lockdown due to the COVID-19 second wave.
States like Arunachal Pradesh (69%), Ladakh (95%), and Dadra and Nagar Haveli (74%) showed very high growth, alongside Jharkhand and Odisha which saw 54% growth.
