The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced a significant update on the withdrawal of Rs 2000 denomination banknotes. According to the latest figures released on July 31, 2025, 98.31% of the Rs 2000 notes in circulation as of May 19, 2023, have been returned to the banking system. Official copy
