As of 28th February 2021, a cumulative total of Rs 2.46 lakh crore in loans has been sanctioned under the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS).
Guarantees have been issued to more than 92.27 lakh borrowers under the ECLGS.
Approximately 87 lakh MSME units have availed guarantees, which represents 95% of the total guarantees issued.
ECLGS 1.0 provides a pre-approved loan facility with an 'opt out' option for all eligible borrowers.
Borrowers can lodge their grievances through a dedicated portal on the NCGTC website or via a specific email ID created for this purpose. These are then forwarded to the concerned MLIs for resolution.
