The Income Tax Department has reminded taxpayers to file their Income Tax Returns (ITR) even as requests for extensions are being made. However, the Finance Ministry has since extended the due dates for various filings. For those not requiring an audit, the ITR deadline is now 10th January 2021, and for those requiring an audit, it's 15th February 2021. Tax Audit Reports are due by 15th January 2021, and the GST Annual Return for FY 19-20 is due on 28th February 2021.

The Finance Ministry has extended the due dates for filing Income Tax Returns, Tax Audit Reports, and GST Compliances. The updated due dates are as follows:
